This past week my fam has been sick...hence the absence

Some times we miss the forest for the trees, and sometimes its the trees for the forest...make sure not to focus on just the little or the big things, but the whole picture

This was taken when we were on vacation in Oregon, it was taken from the top of a waterfall. I was looking at it the other day, and was thinking about how hard it is to be above all of the bad in the world...how we are constantly inundated with it and how we must learn to Live Above It All...we need to remember that we have so many things that give us bad news, we need to remember to look for the good.

Every year we go to the SLC LDS temple to see the lights and Nativities. This year was no exception and was so much fun...My one loved seeing the lights, but loved the Nativities even more! She is starting to understand the meaning of Christmas!
